Caution: Detach the spark plug wire and ground it to the engine before conducting any repairs or maintenance to prevent accidental starting.
- Remove the spark plug for safety.
- Elevate or raise the snowblower to a working height. Do not tip the snowblower as it may leak fuel or oil.
- Remove current paddles, retaining the bolts and nuts.
- Important: Be sure to remove the two spacers in the middle bolt holes of the rubber paddles.
- Place the spacers into the middle two bolt holes on the Tundra Tamer paddles.
- Using spring clamps, clamp the new paddles in place.
- Attach paddles using hardware from old paddles. Do not overtighten hardware.
- Reinstall the spark plug, and reconnect the spark plug wire.
Note: Do not excessively dry run the snowblower during warm temperatures. Ideal running temperatures are near or below freezing.
